Park "Zaryadie" will work at night
The Zaryadie Park will be round-the-clock, year-round, and completely permeable to visitors, said the chief architect of Moscow, Sergey Kuznetsov.
“We are accustomed to the fact that urban parks are usually fenced with two-meter cast-iron fences, but their need is rather dubious. Park "Zaryadie" in this regard is not only modern technologies that are used to create it, but also its concept as a whole. The park will be open to visitors all year round, twenty-four hours a day, absolutely free. It will be possible to get into it from almost any point of the perimeter - from Moskvoretskaya Embankment, from Vasilyevsky Descent, from Varvarka Street and China Town Wall. We decided to abandon any fences, and Mayor Sergei Sobyanin supported this concept, ”said Sergey Kuznetsov.
Kuznetsov said that the park will be fully adapted for people with limited mobility - the relief allows you to freely enter the territory, and special elevators will be installed on the embankment side.
Next to the park, opposite the soaring bridge, there will be a passenger pier. Previously, it was planned to move it to 200-300 meters to the side, but the water area of the Moscow River did not allow it.

Recall, the park "Zaryadye" is scheduled to open in 2017. It is being built on the site of the Russia Hotel demolished in 2006. It will be a theme park with four characteristic climatic zones for Russia: tundra, steppe, forest and flood meadows. Specialists will create an artificial microclimate in different parts of the park using new technologies.
