One of the most interesting questions for a real moviegoer - where was the first demonstration of the film?
The first motion picture in the history of cinema is considered to be "Arrival of the train to the La Ciotat station", shown in 1895 on December 28 by the French Lumiere.
However, in fact, for the first time the film waswas presented to the audience on March 22, 1895 in Paris. The Lumiere brothers Auguste and Louis, who a little earlier patented their invention - the device "Cinematograph", showed a narrow circle of viewers on a big screen a picture, the duration of which was less than a minute. This film was called "Exit of workers from the Lumiere factory" (sometimes there are the names "Exit of workers from the factory of the Lumiere brothers", "Exit from the factory"). The film was filmed in Lyon in front of the entrance to the Lumiere Brothers' factory on March 19, 1895.
