Reduced the number of ferries to the CrimeaThe strong wind does not allow in full to make the crossing to the territory of Crimea through the Kerch Strait. At the crossing in Kerch for a few days (June 26-28) a storm warning was announced. According to the meteorological service in the region, the wind force reaches 17 m / s, and by the end of the day (the 26th day) the weather only worsened, gusts reached a speed of 23 m / s.

Today, the ferry is provided by three small ferries: Kerch 2, Yeisk and Nikolai Aksenenko. The larger ferry, called "Jonas", is now on the roadstead: the gale does not allow it to go on a voyage. The Directorate reports that about 270 cars are waiting in the Caucasus, while there are no queues near the port of Crimea.

By the time conditions improve, women with small children and pregnant women traveling on the so-called “single ticket”, as well as veterans of the Great Patriotic War,people with disabilities and passing in public transport. Two freight lines temporarily stopped their work. For the time being, car lovers are being asked to postpone trips to the peninsula, after waiting out a storm in the southern regions of the mainland.

The Unified Transport Directorate had earlier warned about the possible closure of the crossing through the strait due to the deteriorating weather, although it was soon partially transported.
