Nearly 200 West Seattle High School Students Walk Out in Protest of Presidential Election Results
Approximately 200 West Seattle High School staged a walk out Wednesday in protest following election results Tuesday night naming reality television star Donald Trump President-Elect of the United States of America.
According to the West Seattle Blog, the students were heading south on California Ave SW heading toward the Junction at around 10:23 a.m.
The spirited students continued to Jefferson Square Plaza where they rallied before turning back toward West Seattle High School where they held court at a meeting with faculty. While the meeting was closed to media, we’re hearing the students went into the auditorium to discuss their thoughts with Principal Ruth Medsker.
