news

The loudest news was the transition to Juventus by the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder was bought by the Turin club from Real Madrid for 112 million euros. In turn, Juve leased to Milan with the right to redeem another of its star player - Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain. In the opposite direction followed the defender of the Italian national team Leonardo Bonucci, who already played in Turin from 2010 to 2017.

Speaking of newcomers to the Rossoneri, we should mention the appearance in the headquarters of the Milan club Paolo Maldini. The legend of “Milan” and its long-term captain, the player who played for this club from 1984 to 2009, will take the position of head of the club’s development strategy department. It is important to note that Paolo's father, Cesare Maldini, was in favor of the red-blacks from 1954 to 1966 and for many years was the captain of this club, and Paolo Maldini was assigned number 3, which only his sons can receive.

The match logo has also undergone minor changes. The new logo was shown to the public in early August 2018. The main sponsor of the league is still Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM).

Despite the crisis that followed the 2006 grand corruption scandal and the total hegemony of Inter, followed by Juventus, which has won the Scudetto for 7 years in a row, the Italian football championship still has audience around the world. Fans from all over the world are waiting for the start of the fight for the title of champion, which, despite the complete dominance of Juventus, promises to be uncompromising.
