A total of 27 regions of the country will receive intergovernmental transfers for 52 and a half billion rubles. The site also reports that just over 18 billion will be earmarked for the construction of large projects that are planned in the road sector.Almost 34 billion rubles will be spent on improving the overall condition of the road surface on highways and thereby increasing their throughput.
The authorities have planned to allocate 31 billion 600 million rubles to projects that are created on the terms of public-private partnership. Of this amount, funds will be directed to the construction, as well as the reconstruction and repair of roads with a unique artificial road surface.
Such an impressive tranche will allow many regions this year to significantly improve the quality of highways, which in turn will make it possible in the future to receive significant returns from passenger and freight traffic.
